Architecture performance: Kristoffer Akselbo Ensconced march 18-27

As a part of the Copenhagen Architecture Festival, visual artist Kristoffer Akselbo together with curator Jacob Lillemose have developed an architectural installation and performance for Nikolaj Kunsthal. In this, a dweller made anonymous has ensconced himself at the entrance of the art centre where he interacts at random with the audience.

The project addresses the challenging psychological aspects of a disaster and what it means in this connection to ensconce oneself. Come and experience this piece of survival architecture with a character who oscillates between being the sole survivor after a disaster and a pioneer in a new world order. The project has come into being as a collaboration between the Copenhagen Architecture Festival and Nikolaj Kunsthal.
