Hotel Cecil & Asterios CPH are thrilled to present a very special show by Chassol on march 19th 2020.

Christophe Chassol is being invited in connection with his participation in the exhibition Leonard Cohen : a Crack in Everything running until 13 April at Nikolaj Kunsthal and kunstforeningen GL STRAND.

The prolific French pianist and composer (and arranger for the likes of Phoenix and Sebastien Tellier) has been developing a unique concept of ultrascore. His compositions articulate voices, music, sounds, images, onto new audiovisual objects. His installation in the Leonard Cohen exhibition is one of its highlights, and it felt obvious to invite the artist to come back and present one of his audiovisual shows in full.

At Hotel Cecil, Christophe Chassol will play INDIAMORE which showcases images from his travels and experiences in India, that he has transformed into a synchronous musical and visual feast.

This concert is supported by CPH:DOX, Nikolaj Kunsthal, GL Strand and Institut Français du Danemark.

Leonard Cohen: A Crack in Everything is organized by the Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal, and curated by John Zeppetelli and Victor Shiffman. The exhibition is presented in Copenhagen by Kunstforeningen GL STRAND and Nikolaj Kunsthal.
