Leonard Cohen met his norwegian muse Marianne Ihlen on a Greek island in the beginning of the 1960’s. Here, the young Cohen fought for his dream to become a writer, and Marianne fought with a broken marriage, and was alone with her young son. It became the beginning of an epic love story  – and from it sprung legendary songs like ‘So Long, Marianne’ and ‘Bird on a Wire’, when Cohen later changed path and became a singer. A tumultuous but close relationship which follow them both through life.
