You are invited to take part in the opening of Copenhagen as European Green Capital 2014. Environmental quotes are written with candles on public squares. The quotes will only be visible if you help us light them.

At Nytorv and Højbro Plads you can even make your own quotes.

We provide the candles and at the end of the evening you can take them with you and reuse them.

Live music will accompany the event with 15 concerts from open windows and balconies, on the street, in Vor Frue Kirke, Domhuset, Nikolaj Kunsthal and all around Rådhuset (City Hall).

The event starts at the Metro, Kgs. Nytorv at 16.30, and the last concert ends at 23.00 at Rådhuspladsen.

The Town Hall is also open 18.30-22.00 with a digital exhibition of the Copenhageners’ own city photos, and from 19.30 there will be free hot soup, coee and tea at the Town Hall Square.
